We'll work on the things that make snowboarding easier, more fun, and by getting them down will take you to the next level faster.
For snowboarding, this is a 'more feedback' style of group, where things will go slower so that you can systematically repeat the basics. To make the most of it, please enjoy the group dynamic where we stay close together, and choose certain adaptations so that the more advanced participants can try something to make it more difficult.
Prerequisites
- At a minimum, you should at least be comfortable with 'breaking' turns (i.e. turning then slowing down, then the next turn and slowing down again, and so on).
Lesson Contents
- Mastering One Foot: Surface lifts, Safely riding one foot, Theory
- Carving: (Normal, Switch, Fakie, With Jumping) (Traversing vs Real Carving)
- Stance: Body position for safety in bad terrain / bad visibility. Understanding how to do jumps safely (stacked position)
- Progressing turns: Turning techniques. Improving turns beyond the fundamentals
