Zurich Snowsports Club

About Us

Welcome to the Zurich Snowsports Club! We are a voluntary, non-profit club founded by professional snowboard and ski instructors with a goal to create the best experience for our members.

We match groups to optimize how much you will learn, while also bringing people together for the best social experience. After all, sharing the experience is what makes the sport special for so many of us. That means we match based on age groups (no young kids mixed with adults) and personal goals instead of unstructured first-come-first-served registration. During registration, we ask specific questions about your hobbies, interest in riding styles (freestyle, freeriding), if you want to be in a group without waiting, etc. As a result we'll have more enjoyable shared experiences for both students and instructors.

For advice on where to Ski or Snowboard near Zurich, see our Ski Teacher's Guide to Skiing Near Zurich

How it works

Once a compatible group of about 5-7 people can be formed, we will contact you to check availability and confirm the dates/prices.

In compliance with federal and cantonal regulation of snowsport instructors, group lessons are done through the existing ski schools. For example, Laax School would be used for skiiers in Laax and Schweizer Ski- und Snowboardschule Melchsee-Frutt for snowboarders in Melchsee-Frutt.

Register Interest

Becoming a member of the Zurich Snowsports Club is easy! We welcome people from all countries and backgrounds who share a passion for snowsports.

Since we are a newly formed club, we cannot guarantee that enough people will register in order to hold the planned trips. Registering interest is free, and any costs will be communicated once group sizes and dates can be confirmed.

Registering interest is not an obligation to attend or pay. Final confirmations can be made when groups and dates are confirmed.

If you'd like to join, simply fill out the form below or contact us directly for more information!

Join as an Instructor

Are you a snowsports instructor with a recognised certification, that likes the idea and has fun teaching groups?

Don't worry if you are already employed by a ski school, and don't want to teach in the same resort outside of your school. Lessons can be booked through your school, by requesting you as the instructor for the group. Registering interest as an instructor does not come with obligations. Final confirmations can be made when groups and dates are confirmed.
